Kim is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the Wake County Bar Association, and has been licensed in North Carolina since 2009. She earned her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before focusing on estate planning, she represented clients across the country in Social Security disability matters, helping them pursue benefits during some of the most vulnerable times of their lives. She also worked as a consultant on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations and cross-border litigation matters involving Vietnam, work that sharpened her eye for detail and due diligence.
Growing up in a proud and hardworking immigrant family, Kim learned early, from helping her parents navigate unfamiliar systems, how overwhelming important decisions can feel without the right guidance, and what it means to be an effective advocate. Today, she combines legal knowledge with a compassionate, relationship-centered approach, and takes the time to listen and understand what matters most to you.
